Lindsey Zulewski, LMT, ADS
Lindsey attended the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy for the 2006/2007 school year where she received 750 hours of training and became specialized in three different massage modalities. She began her career immediately following graduation. Since then, she has worked in the Spa Setting and in more medically-driven settings such as massage clinics and for a Chiropractor. She has dedicated herself to helping others manage their pain and discomfort and loves every minute of it. Additionally, Lindsey has also become a certified AcuDetox specialist, providing auricular acupuncture to those who need relief from addictions and symptoms of certain mental health conditions.
Lindsey is specialized in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy. She also has experience with, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, Pre-Natal Massage, and Equine Massage Therapy.
Amanda Starks, LMT, ADS
Amanda graduated from NIT in 2006 and specializes in therapeutic, relaxation, prenatal, myofascial, and deep tissue massage. After graduating, she took her skills on the road as a mobile massage therapist. She also has performed some equine massage therapy, providing much needed therapy to horses at various stables in southeast Michigan. Additionally, like Lindsey, she has also become a certified AcuDetox specialist and has enjoyed expanding her repertoire to include other holistic wellness modalities to further assist her clients on their healing journeys.
Amanda very much enjoys therapeutic work, as it is her favorite. She also prides herself of catering each session to the specific needs of the client.
Kelly Montour, LMT, CFNC
We were thrilled to make Kelly an addition to our practice in July 2019. She has been practicing since 2011 when she graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute. She practices many modalities ranging from stress reduction, relaxation massage to sports massage. Kelly specializes in outcome- based deep tissue massage and works to ensure each client is receiving a massage specific to their needs. She has worked with and learned from chiropractors as well as other experienced therapists and continues to broaden her knowledge in order to do her best to help each client reach optimum health.
Kelly also recently became certified as a Functional Nutrition Counselor. The goal of functional nutrition is to help achieve proper gut health, as it is the foundation for the health of each system of the human body.
Charlene Gurney, LMT
Charlene is a recent graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, where she received training in a variety of massage modalities along with knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology. During her time at Irene's she took a special interest in working with the Fascial and the CranioSacral systems of the body. She is currently pursuing certification for CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and really enjoys adding elements of it into her sessions. She also has experience with trigger point release, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, cupping, dynamic stretching, orthopedic massage and reflexology. In addition to her education at Irene's, Charlene is a Reiki Level II practitioner and is passionate about energetic healing. Her sessions are an all-encompassing holistic approach to massage that centers around you. In feeling called to do this work, Charlene is guided just as much by her intuition as by her knowledge to bring awareness to what your body needs.

Autumn Lenart, LMT
Autumn is a 2022 graduate of Irene's School of Myomassology in Southfield. Immediately following graduation, Autumn began her journey to help others manage their pain and stress. She is extremely passionate about massage therapy, ensuring each session is personalized. Her goal is to bring awareness to the client about their body and pass on the knowledge about the benefits that massage therapy can provide.
During her time at Irene's, Autumn was trained in several massage modalities, but took special interest in therapeutic techniques including, muscle energy techniques, trigger point therapy, and myofascial therapy.
Lisa Sawinski, RN, CCM, CLT, RM
With over three decades of experience as a Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager, Lisa has dedicated her life to advocating for and supporting others through their healthcare journeys. Lisa is also a Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT) specializing in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), a key component of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).
In addition to her extensive healthcare expertise, Lisa is a Certified Reiki Master, and Energy Practitioner, allowing her to provide complementary holistic healing support to those in need. She believes deeply in the power of natural remedies, using her intuitive and empathic nature to connect with clients on a profound level.
At Balanced Therapeutics, Lisa specializes in stimulating the body's capacity to return to balance and health while empowering clients in self-care with knowledge and resources. Her work focuses on helping clients clear physical and mental blockages whether it is within the lymphatic system, whole body system or energy system. By assisting the movement within and around, Lisa helps 'move the muck' to open up new possibilities of wellness in their lives.
Lisa guides clients on transformative journeys, empowering them to discover the limitless potential of their minds and bodies. Every encounter with a client is an opportunity for mutual learning and growth.

Colleen Richards, LMT
Colleen has been a massage therapist for over 10 years and is a current and active member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She enjoys working with clients to help them achieve a more active, more mobile, more comfortable everyday life, as well as offer relaxation and stress management. She strongly believes Massage is beneficial for a wide variety of issues that cause pain and discomfort in the body.
Over the course of her career, Colleen has put extensive time and effort into learning new modalities in an effort to expand her skill set. She continues to learn and grow so that she can help her clients in the ways that will best benefit their needs.
Veronica Crowley, LMT, Yoga Instructor
Veronica has been in practice since she graduated from Irene's Myomasology Institute in 2009. Not only is she trained in traditional massage therapy techniques, she is also trained in thai massage and is a certified as a yoga inscructor. Veronica specializes in outcome-based care, focusing on the overall health of the client. Her goal is to provide therapeutic care that meets the needs of the client while simultaneously creating a safe and relaxing experience.
Veronica is a lifelong learner. Her curiosity drives her to better understand the ways in which the mind, body and spirit work together to facilitate healing, and create wholeness.
Liz MacDonald, LMT
Liz graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in 2020 and has been dedicated to refining her craft ever since. She believes that learning is a lifelong journey and continually seeks out new techniques to enhance her skills and better serve her clients.
With a deep passion for helping others feel their best, Liz is committed to improving her clients’ quality of life through intentional, personalized bodywork. She understands that no two bodies are the same—so no two massages should be either. Whether you’re looking to unwind with a deeply relaxing session or need focused, orthopedic-style work to address specific concerns, Liz takes the time to listen and tailor each session to your unique needs. Tosha Radic, LMT, C. Ht.
After many years of being an amazing friend and official "unofficial staff member" here at Balanced Therapeutics, we are so excited to finally have Tosha Radic join our practice. Tosha is a licensed massage therapist who began her career in 1997 after graduating from the Health Enrichment Center where she gained extensive experience in bodywork. Wanting to expand on her knowledge, she recently became Certified as a Hypnotherapist in order to provide other forms of holistic care to the community. Tosha is also a proud member of The Clinical Hypnosis Professional Group.
Although Tosha is a licensed massage therapist, her focus at Balanced Therapeutics is exclusively on clinical hypnotherapy. Drawing from her training at the state-licensed Clinical Hypnosis Institute, she brings a compassionate and professional approach to helping clients overcome stress, anxiety, habits, and limiting beliefs through the power of the subconscious mind.
